Led by Lauren Smith, M.S., CCC-SLP, Talk Time brings together compassionate, credentialed professionals who specialize in pediatric speech therapy for children ages 5–12. Meet Lauren Smith, M.S., CCC-SLP
Founder, Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
Lauren’s passion for helping others communicate began at the age of 15, when she worked with adults with communication disorders. That early experience inspired her to pursue both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from William Paterson University, graduating Cum Laude.
With over 25 years of experience in the Howell Public School District, Lauren has worked with children from preschool through middle school. Her career also includes early intervention through Sunny Days Inc., where she served as both a Speech-Language Pathologist and Developmental Interventionist for children ages 15 months to 3 years.
Lauren now provides private evaluations and therapy through her practice, Lauren M. Smith Speech Pathology LLC, and continues her commitment to individualized, research-backed therapy through Talk Time Telehealth. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, is fully licensed in New Jersey, and serves as a certified graduate student supervisor, helping shape the next generation of SLPs.

Meet Alyssa Saccente, M.A., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Alyssa Saccente is a certified speech-language pathologist who brings energy, warmth, and expertise to every therapy session. She currently provides individualized speech and language services to students across Howell Township Public Schools and is committed to helping each child reach their full potential.
Alyssa earned her undergraduate degree from Stockton University and completed her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology at Hofstra University. She holds a Speech-Language Specialist (SLS) certificate and the Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification.
With experience working with children as young as age 2, Alyssa supports a wide range of communication goals—from articulation and expressive language to receptive understanding and overall speech clarity. Her sessions are focused, fun, and family-centered, with an emphasis on creating a supportive environment where children feel empowered to communicate confidently.
