About
Lauren Smith, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech-Langauge Pathologist

Lauren’s passion for helping others communicate began at the young age of 15, when she first worked with adults with communication disorders. Inspired by that early experience, she pursued her studies at William Paterson University, earning both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Speech-Language Pathology, graduating CumLaude.

With over 25 years of experience as a dedicated speech-language pathologist in the Howell Public School District, Lauren has worked with students from preschool through middle school, providing comprehensive therapy services. Her work extends to early intervention as well, where she has served as both an SLP and Developmental Interventionist for Sunny Days Inc., supporting children ages 15 months to 3 years.

In addition to her experience in public settings and early intervention, Lauren provides private evaluations and therapy through her practice, Lauren M. Smith Speech Pathology LLC. She is dedicated to delivering individualized, evidence-based therapy that empowers each child to achieve their fullest communication potential.

Lauren holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), is licensed to practice in New Jersey, and serves as a certified graduate student supervisor, supporting the next generation of speech-language pathologists.
